Inner Range – Concept Certified Technician (Basic)
The Concept Basic Course introduces technicians to the principles of the Concept system. Basic programming is the focus of this course and there is ample opportunity to practice with Concept hardware and Insight software. Some fundamental installation principles will be reviewed. Upon completion of this course, certified technicians will be able to demonstrate competency in the following topics:
- Concept hardware and installation principles
- Programming inputs, areas, groups and lists
- Basic alarm system operation and testing
- Terminal module programming
- Programming users, user types and menu groups
- Doors and access control programming
- Reader module programming
- Programming user cards
- Integration of access control and simple building automation
- Computerised control, communications and monitoring
Each certified technician receives their own personalised Concept Certified Technician certificate and ID card.
